Imsdahl wins PanAm trials

Solveig Imsdahl moved to Philadelphia after graduating from Cornell in 2013 to continue training at the elite level. She has been primarily sculling, but after the announcement, that the lightweight women's pair (LW2-) would be added as an event at the World Championships this year, she decided to jump into a pair with her teammate Liz Euiler earlier this year. They missed qualifying for the Worlds Championships at senior trials, but won the Pan American trials two weeks later in the open category and now have a chance to qualify the women's pair (W2-) in Rio for the Pan American Games in 2019. Their trip is completely self funded. If you would like to support or read more about their journey, feel free to check out their page at https://www.gofundme.com/help-send-us-to-rio.
